Burgos is a safe, welcoming, and historic city in northern Spain. Known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful Gothic cathedral, and student-friendly atmosphere, it offers an ideal environment for focused academic study. The city has good transport connections, a calm lifestyle, and plenty of leisure and cultural activities for students.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will obtain:
- A University Degree in Commercial Aviation and Air Operations
- A Frozen EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- A Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Instrument Rating (IR/ME)
These qualifications are issued in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
regulations and meet international professional standards.
Graduates can pursue careers as airline pilots, corporate pilots, cargo transport pilots, and in aviation operations, both in-flight and on the ground.
The easiest way for international students is via Madrid-Barajas International Airport.
- From Terminal 4: take an ALSA bus to Burgos.
- Or: take the metro to Chamartín station and a RENFE high-speed train.
Private buses run between the university and the airport.
Through our partner company, FlyBy, students train using the following:
- Aircraft: Tecnam P2002JF, Tecnam P2006T, Piper PA28
- Simulators: Beechcraft Baron, Cessna 172, Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.
Through our collaborator FlyBy, we have agreements with select airlines for preferential selection of top students. These agreements:
- Are reserved for the most outstanding students
- Do not guarantee employment
- Focus on helping students access airline selection processes
